Prophet 21 training comes from four places: Epicor Learning (the Epicor Learning Center, an in-product Help and Support Panel, an AI Knowledge Agent and instructor-led courses from Epicor Professional Services), Epicor partners who run bootcamps and module deep dives, the P21 Worldwide User Group and its annual Connect conference, and free videos. Support runs through Epicor’s EpicCare portal and your partner. The same Epicor Learning Center covers Kinetic and Eclipse. Morsa cuts how much P21 people need to learn by doing the repetitive entry and chasing for them.
Morsa publishes this guide. Epicor facts were read on epicor.com, and partner and event facts on the named sites, on 21 October 2026.

Epicor Learning: the official route
Epicor Learning is Epicor’s training suite. The Epicor Learning Center is “your gateway to mastering Epicor solutions through a library of videos and our extensive catalogs of courses and learning paths” [1]. Epicor says customers with full access get the whole catalog, while “essential courses are available at no cost for others” [1].
Inside the product, the Help and Support Panel gives contextual training from any screen. The Knowledge Agent, which Epicor says is “powered by Microsoft OpenAI GPT”, answers questions using only Epicor content and “does not access or utilize your personal content” [1]. Epicor also confirms it “provides instructor-led training delivered by our Professional Services team, all accessible through the Epicor Learning Center” [1].
To start: sign up for an Epicor Learning Center account (Epicor says customers can sign up at any time), then pick the P21 learning path for each role [1].
Partner training
Most P21 shops buy implementation from an Epicor partner, and partners sell training too. EstesGroup’s published P21 program, as one example, includes role-based onboarding, a basics bootcamp of roughly one week, module deep dives of roughly a couple of weeks per module, warehouse and pricing courses, super user training, and administrator training on users and security [2]. Prices are quote-only. DCKAP, a P21 integrator, puts ERP training at “a few hundred to several thousand dollars” per employee depending on depth [5].
The P21 user group and Connect
The P21 Worldwide User Group (P21WWUG) is run by users, with local and regional chapters and a forum where users help each other with questions and system issues [3]. It hosts a yearly conference, P21 Connect, and Epicor’s own user conference, Epicor Insights, is open to users and prospective customers [3]. Check the group’s site for current dates and fees; we could not load it on 21 October 2026.
Epicor training for Kinetic and Eclipse
“Epicor training” and “Epicor Kinetic training” run through the same Epicor Learning Center, which Epicor says “supports all core ERP products and select Business Applications” with separate learning paths per product [1]. Eclipse users also get Training on Demand and Knowledge on Demand through Epicor Learning [6].
Prophet 21 support
Support route | What it covers | Source |
|---|---|---|
EpicCare | Epicor’s customer support portal for tickets and upgrade requests | [7] |
Epicor support plans | Users on the epiusers.help forum reported in June 2019 that Essential support replaced Standard and that Pro adds extended coverage, such as round-the-clock help on top-priority cases; posters gave no prices, and Epicor does not publish the terms on its public site | [8] |
Your Epicor partner | Many partners sell their own support plans, such as EstesGroup’s EstesCare for P21, which includes ongoing training | [2] |
Community | P21WWUG forum and epiusers.help | [3][8] |
After Epicor’s final on-premises P21 release (2028.1, tentatively May 2028), Active Support for that release runs through June 30, 2029, then Sustaining Support begins July 1, 2029 [9]. Plan your support contract and any cloud move around those dates.
The training problem nobody budgets for
ERP training never ends at go-live. New CSRs and buyers join, people forget screens they use once a month, and every upgrade changes something. Reviewers of P21 name a complex interface as a common complaint [10]. Most of what new staff learn is the same few repetitive tasks: keying orders, updating PO dates, looking up order status.
The modern answer is to stop making people do those tasks at all. Morsa, an AI operations layer, does them on top of P21: it enters emailed and PDF customer orders, chases suppliers from the buyer’s own mailbox and updates PO dates in P21, and answers “where is my order” from P21 and the carrier. New staff work in the email, Teams or WhatsApp they already know and approve what Morsa prepares. There is no new software to learn and no training cost.
At J4S, a 120-person glass plant, on-time completion rose from about 30% to about 75% in four weeks across about 900 commitments [11]. At JRG Automotive, Morsa caught 5 of 8 production-stopping shortages early, saving $2 million. Start with a pilot on one live problem; no per-seat licences, live in days, and “We’ll catch a shortage in your plant, or you don’t pay.”
