The strongest Conexiom alternatives for a mid-size distributor are Canals (order entry, AP and PO tracking, over 100 distributors by its count), Proton.ai (order and quote entry on a CRM and catalog platform), Ordermatic (phone, fax and legacy ERPs such as AS/400), Y Meadows (free up to 50 orders a month) and Esker (a finance-led order-to-cash suite). All are quote only beyond Y Meadows’ free tier. Conexiom itself publishes 40+ native ERP integrations and a 30-day average implementation.
Morsa publishes this guide and appears in it. Every vendor fact was read on the vendor’s own site, or in the trade press where noted, on 12 October 2026.
Quick answer
Orders plus AP and PO tracking: Canals.
Orders on a CRM and ecommerce platform: Proton.ai.
Phone, fax or an AS/400 ERP: Ordermatic.
Free on your own orders: Y Meadows, up to 50 a month.
Orders plus supplier chasing: Augment, or Morsa if supplier dates and customer updates hurt most.
What does Conexiom do?
Conexiom sells Conexiom Relay, which its homepage says “automates the entire order and invoice lifecycle into ERP-ready data.” It covers RFQs, sales orders, vendor order acknowledgements (VOAs) and invoices in three steps. Capture reads “PDF, Excel, email, CSV, even handwritten notes.” Correct validates each order against the ERP and fixes errors before it posts. Analyze looks for patterns across all orders. Playbook and Conexiom Assist let a team set the rules the AI follows and check its work.
Its case rests on scale. The homepage says it is “Trusted on 1.5B+ line items a year,” lists “Pre-built, native integrations with 40+ ERPs” (Prophet 21, Eclipse, Kinetic, Dynamics 365, NetSuite and SAP among them) and states a “30-day average” implementation with “Zero ERP changes.” It is SOC 2 Type II certified. On 14 July 2026 it expanded its partnership with Epicor for Eclipse and Prophet 21 users, citing “hundreds of joint customers.” Warburg Pincus invested $130 million in September 2021.
Why do distributors look for a Conexiom alternative?
Price. Conexiom publishes no price, and conexiom.com/pricing returned a 404 on 12 October 2026. Ordermatic’s comparison page says of both: “Directly comparable public pricing was not verified.”
Scope. Conexiom turns documents into clean ERP data and analyzes them. It does not describe drafting quotes with contract pricing, as Proton.ai does, or running AP and receipt tracking, as Canals does, or chasing a supplier who has not answered, or telling a customer that a date moved.
Channel and ERP fit. Ordermatic builds its pitch on phone and fax intake and green-screen ERPs such as AS/400, IBM iSeries and Infor M3/M4, and marks both “Not publicly verified” for Conexiom. That is a competitor’s reading; confirm it with Conexiom on your ERP version.
None of this makes Conexiom weak. It is the most established name here; the right alternative depends on which gap you feel.
What are the 8 best Conexiom alternatives in 2026?

Pros: Claims “32+ hours back every week.” Lists 11 ERPs, including Prophet 21, Eclipse, Acumatica and SAP Business One. States a typical implementation of 2 to 3 weeks, scope dependent.
Cons: One published case study (Generational Fittings, Prophet 21, 24 June 2026); order entry only.

Cons: Much of the product serves freight brokers and carriers; no published go-live time.
Pricing: Per completed unit of work; no list price. Source: goaugment.com
8. Morsa
Quick overview: An AI COO for operations, working in email, Teams, WhatsApp, phone or whatever the team runs on. It handles order entry and quoting; its strength is after the order: supplier chasing, delivery dates, “where is my order” replies and shortages.
Best for: Distributors losing money after the order, in moved supplier dates.
Pros: Connects to SAP Business One, Dynamics 365, NetSuite, Odoo, Zoho, QuickBooks and any system with an API, a database, an export or an email trail. Cloud, private cloud or fully on-premise.
Cons: Distribution customers: none yet (manufacturing live). Prophet 21 and Eclipse are not on its published integration list (it connects them by API, database, export or email trail); starts with a pilot.

Also considered: WizCommerce (wholesale rep and ecommerce platform) and Pepper (food distributors, “70+ ERP systems”). Both quote only.

How should a mid-size distributor choose?
Start from the gap that made you look, then test every finalist on the same evidence. Published go-live times run from 2 weeks (Canals) to 8 weeks (Y Meadows, complex), and none is independently measured, so get the timeline in writing.
Run 100 real orders from last month, including the worst faxes, handwritten lists and 400-line spreadsheets, through each finalist before you sign.
Name your ERP and version, and ask whether the tool writes the order or only prepares a file. Y Meadows’ free tier exports a file; full automation is paid.
Decide the scope: order entry only (Conexiom, Ordermatic, Y Meadows), plus quoting and CRM (Proton.ai), or plus AP and purchasing (Canals, Augment).
Ask how they price: per order, per branch, per completed unit or a share of value changes what a busy month costs.
Ask what a person sees when the tool is unsure of a line, and who approves it.
Where does Morsa fit, and when is it the wrong choice?
Morsa runs order entry and quoting, but its strength is the work after the order is keyed. It reads a signal, such as a supplier email, a message or a changed date in the ERP, and connects it to the orders and customers it affects. It chases the supplier, updates the customer, escalates before the due date and closes the item on proof, such as a goods receipt in the ERP. The team sees this in the email, Teams or WhatsApp threads they already use.
Built and proven in manufacturing, now onboarding our first distributors. At J4S, a 120-person glass plant, on-time completion of about 900 operational commitments went from about 30% to about 75% in four weeks, two days after first connection. Anil Kohli, J4S’s Production Head: “Our people don’t have to learn any new software. People just message the way they always have. Morsa coordinates all the messages in the background.”
Pick Conexiom, Canals or Ordermatic instead if hand-keying orders is your main problem and you want a distribution reference to call today.
