COVERED GOODS

All products of Brazil are covered through HTSUS heading 9903.05.01 unless they fall within exception headings 9903.05.02 through 9903.05.09, U.S. note 50 exemptions, listed HTSUS subheadings, or specified product categories.

EXCLUSIONS

Exclusions include in-transit goods meeting the July 22 and July 29 conditions, personal accompanied baggage, most Chapter 98 entries except specified 9802 provisions, listed HTSUS subheadings, specified religious and other articles, civil aircraft and parts, articles for pharmaceutical applications, goods already covered by specified Section 232 metals, autos, trucks, wood products and semiconductor provisions, donations, informational materials, and patented pharmaceutical articles beginning July 31, 2026.

WHAT TO DO (OUR GUIDANCE, NOT LEGAL ADVICE)

Identify Brazil-origin open orders and entries on or after July 22 and add 25 percent unless an exemption applies. Check each SKU against U.S. note 50, headings 9903.05.02 through 9903.05.09, the listed HTSUS subheadings, and the in-transit rules before repricing or filing entries.
