COVERED GOODS
All articles that are products of the PRC, as defined by a Federal Register notice, excluding articles encompassed by 50 U.S.C. 1702(b).
EXCLUSIONS
Goods loaded onto a vessel or in transit on the final mode of transport before 12:01 a.m. eastern time on February 1, 2025 are not subject to the additional duty if the importer certifies as specified. Articles encompassed by 50 U.S.C. 1702(b) are excluded.
WHAT TO DO (OUR GUIDANCE, NOT LEGAL ADVICE)
Check whether open and incoming China-origin entries are entered on or after February 4, 2025, and add the 10 percent duty to landed cost calculations. For goods already loaded or in transit before February 1, 2025, confirm whether the certification process in the Federal Register notice is available.
